Anybody here playing "World of Warcraft"

Yes I play, but haven't in awhile simply because it DOES take too much time. It's probably been about three weeks or so since I last played.

 

I played it for a few months; it is a decent game, but hugely over-rated - I think its success is down to it being a lot of peoples first MMORPG, thanks to the crossover appeal of the Warcraft franchise - and there really isn't anything like your first MMORPG

 

Way to kick the habit.

 

It's definitely not a habit. I'd just rather be doing other things.

 

This scares me... Ok.. Older people playing a mmorpg.. I mean I have always played along side adults, in everquest and ultimate online. ( i dont play world of warcrack) but dang.. I have to say, this many people playing a virtual game scares me haha..... I dont play mmorpg's for fun btw. I play to sell the virtual currency, on ebay and many other cheating forums for these type of games

 

I fail to see why you'd make a lame joke about WoW. I see no difference between it or Everquest.

 

There ISN'T a difference... they are different games, but they both fall into the same category.

 

Does anyone know the latest advancement on this? What is the newest expansion for World Of Warcraft.

I haven' t played yet. But it 's interesting.

 

I suggest you don't get into it. It's nothing but a destructive waste of time.

 

Coming from the guy, who cant understand that both games are mmorpgs and both greatly addictive.. ... everquest 1st mmorpg where a suicide by a kid made. Same thing in w0w. K... Thats why y I said.. "world of warcrack"

Anyway, I fail to see what the hell you're talking about. Since these games are addictive, it would be easier not to begin playing them, than kicking the habit later.

If people are committing suicide over a game, they are the ones who are already mentally disturbed to begin with. It has nothing to do with the game itself.

And it IS a waste of time, but it can be a fun waste of time.

 

Interesting at the beginning (lasts for about 2 month) then it's boring to the max - you end up doing the same things, over and over again, ad nauseam.

 

Do NOT PLAY GAMES LIKE THIS! Trust me. If your not into it DO NOT GET INTO IT. People have actually been so addicted to this game that they have played for for so long and lived off Sports Drinks and power bars and have actually died. They found a girl in china who played for an entire week and when they found her she was sitting in her own feces dead. Because she didn't get up and go to bathroom for an entire week and didn't stop playing! I think I would rather be addicted to crack than this game.

 

I think that would be a very extreme case. I've never played it but I would mind giving it a try. It seems like a game I'd like.

 

I have started to play that and thats truly addicting...but not as addictind as DP
