Anybody here playing "World of Warcraft"

I'm an oldtimer Diablo addict (yes I had the scripts running for me while sleeping) and now that my brother in law is trying to get me hooked once again - on WoW this time, so I'm wondering:

1) How many dp-geeks play this monstrocity (beeing so huge and time consuming) of a game?

2) What race, class and so on is your (favorite) character these days?

3) How much time do you spend in this online universe?


Oh, and finally: Do you run a super-duper fantastic forum for your guild?

Those games are absolutely amazing but they aren't for the casual player so its just not possible for me. They require some MAJOR time

As far as WoW, thats a committment, I barely got time to think let alone that. I play RtCW Enemy Territory once in awhile and Knights of Honor...

Mahjong, come on you have to have heard of Mahjong, its like one of those tile games where you match pieces,.. maybe I have said to much, time to crawl back to my cave

Oh!!!!! Mella has seen the LIGHT. I know that game. My step dad plays it sometimes. Personally I got bored after about a millisecond.

for me its the BEST game ive ever played
but those RPG are my favorate games

I am a poor wanna be gamer. I know I should be doing other things, so I don't allow myself to buy these types of games.

BUT I've been drawn in by R.O.S.E. online ( roseon.com ).
It is a MMORPG and it's in beta right now, and will be for a while, so it's free to download and install, plus it's free to play on their servers. That's why I play.
It's based/made in Korea I belive so some of the english (read: engrish) is bad, but it is still fun to play. Plus you don't need a high end PC to play it and it's not all magical warriors and beasts, it's more of a anime looking kids running around hunting worms, jelly beans and pumpkins. OK I'll stop going off topic.

After a long hiatus I started playing Rise of Nations...pretty much Age of Empires from MS. Not sure if anyone has played these, but like WoW, it is a major time vacum.

i wanted to get Episode III game but its not available on the PC
so i just have to buy an x-box to play it

 

Hi regarding games in spent most of my time on operation flashpoint or joint operation if you don.t know what these games are check out novalogic.com or bistudio.com good games real life graphics kind of shooting game with loads of ammo as your disposal to wreck havoc the most game i go on is joint operation online with around 150 others players from all over the world

Does anyone on Digital Point play World of Warcraft? It is a great online multiplayer game. I have am starting a world of warcraft forum and want to know if there are any other WoW playing webmasters. If you play, just post your server, char name and level.

I used to play that like I was on crack. I got a few chars to the upper 50's and quit. I have been thinking of playing my priest again. I kicked butt.

I have not played in about a year I think.

God, I need to post this and leave. I am getting the tingle feeling again.
