anybody having problems with domains

    i have registered 2 domains


    1 with namecheap and 1 with iplox

    more than 48 hrs have passed and the domains are still not pointing to my hosting is anybody else having this problem

    No.I don't have any problems with namecheap..Usually after I changed the DNS,I could use it in a few mins..That's another reason I like namecheap.

    It *can* take up to 48 hours to propogate a DNS Nameserver change across the INternet, but it usually doesn't. If it goes on much longer, I would double check your name servers for mistakes.

    this is the first time i have had any problems usually namecheap takes minutes

    and i konw there is no problem with m nameservers

    If:

    1. The domain name's WHOIS shows the correct nameservers, and:

    2. The nameservers have the correct DNS records (e.g. A records, MX, etc.).

    Then give it up to 48 hours. Although DNS changes are more quick nowadays, it
    isn't always that way since various factors are involved, and no single party has
    control over all of them.

    It's also possible your ISP hasn't "caught" on yet. However, each will refresh at
    their own pace.

    If you know a proxy server (especially a free one), you try to access the domain
    name with it, and you see its actual site, then check with your ISP last.
