Anybody had any luck being re-included?

I wonder if google really does re-include websites. I had one of mine vanish from their index about 4 years ago because I'd filled it with doorway pages (silly me).

Every month I've requested re-inclusion but have had no luck. The offending pages were removed many years ago and the site is now clean and certainly within Googles guidelines.

Have any of you had any luck with reinclusion requests?

    Best wishes,

    Martin

One of my site got reincluded after 11 months. I never sent a reinclusion request.

I don't think anyone ever reads the reinclusion requests at Google.

One of my sites, that was removed in October 2006 is still banned. I sent two or three reinclusion requests, but nothing happened.

It is better to concentrate on other sites.

Well, I even don't know the reason of a ban.

one of my sites (a blog) got banned due to the bloody spammy comments - i was new then and did not know that these blood suckers existed. anyway, i got banned and i wrote to google - no use. however, after many months, it got reincluded... not sure if thats due to my requests or because the spider just dropped by...

    good luck to you.

The reinclusion link is embedded within Google Webmaster Tools.
