I've been in Costa Rica back in 2000. I recommend visiting Manuel Antonio and the rain forest in Monteverde.

    Pura Vida ~

Ostinal, Playa Negra, Samara & Avellanas are my favorites.

Planning to go back in April of 2008.

Yeah Samara can be boring, especially if you're looking for surf. Its a romantic spot though, if you're into that sort of thing. And its still a small rustic town with Palm Trees that line the beach. My girl is a sucker for the Palm Trees. I'd take bushes on the beach instead of Palms if the waves are better. :)

Absolutely! Perfect honeymoon spot. I need to do a write up on it on my Costa Rica site. :)

Overall, I didn't like Costa Rica as much as Belize or Panama.

There were just too many American kids there. The "eco-tourism" spin attracts the wrong kind of people -- hippies with no manners.

Belize is still rustic enough to attract only a hardier and slightly more polite class of jungle tourist.

Panama is, comparatively speaking, amazingly advanced. However, it hasn't been selling to the "eco-tourism" crowd. It has all of the same types of outdoor attractions, they are just less crowded with tourons!

Belize is cool, too bad there isn't any surfing there. Were heading to San Pedro and Caye Caulker next month.

Any suggestions on places to stay in San Pedro or Caye Caulker Will?

What about you Blogmaster :) any suggestions on places to stay in Belize?
