Well Egypt come out with impressive win over Cameroon by 4-2. Yesterday's results:
    Sudan 0-3 Zambia
    Egypt 4-2 Cameroon

I didn't expect Egypt to beat Cameroon, primarily because Ahmed Hassan was suspended.

Zambia vs Sudan was a game where I had backed Sudan- their 23 member squad was drawn from two clubs, and their recent performances were fairly impressive.

Group D - South Africa vs Angola

    and

    Senegal vs Tunisia.

I think you are talking about Majid Traoui's goal. That guy would not have got a game had Mehdi Nafti not been injured.

South Africa drew with Angola in the other game. Van Heerden for the Bafana Bafana, Manucho for Angola.

Well I seen the game and it was a great game and that striker change the game. Both games ended in drew so all 4 teams have 1 points each.

Both the Group D games ended in draws.

Guinea beat Morocco 3-2 to keep their hopes alive. Feinduono scores a brace, and also gets sent off.

    Ghana beat Namibia 1-0.

Benjani is a Zimbabwean. Zimbabwe were in Group 12 with Malawi and Morocco in AFCON qualification, and they finished second.

So no Zimbabwe at this tournament.

There is no Benni McCarthy either, but we do have Kalou, Utaka, Drogba, Martins and Kanu.

Not a good result for Nigeria.

Mali could beat Ivory Coast and progress at Nigeria's expense.

Zambia vs Cameroon and Sudan vs Egypt today. The Indomitable Lions need to win after losing their first game 2-4. Egypt should have it easy against Sudan.

Zambia whipped by Cameroon. Egypt score three times against Sudan.

South Africa to play Tunisia, Senegal playing Angola.

Think that Suprise Moriri and Siphiwe Tshabalala will make way for Fanteni and Chabangu/ Van Heerden. McCarthy would have been a great asset to the Bafana Bafana side.

Good luck to both the teams.
