Hi all, I love my Xbox 360 but i keep getting the red 'ring of death' around the power button. Why are xbox's so delicate compared to, say, playstation or Nintendo software. Someone told me this was about overheating of component parts but i think that is a fairly lame justification. Anyway does anyone have any advice on what to do? Does Microsoft offer replacements for free?.
There is actually a fix for this problem that is worth a try. http://youtube.com/watch?v=avWs4-wD15w&feature=related It is fully undetectable by Microsoft so if it doesn't work, you can just send it in and your warranty is still good.
