good luck! seo friendly pages come with knowledge that a web design (frontpage) wouldn't know how to do!

Software makes little difference to SEO as a search engine will spider the site no matter how bad or bloated the code is

Realistically you either need to take the time to learn about SEO which will include some HTML or accept your time is better off spent doing other things to promote your company and pay an expert to handle it for you.

The best web design software is by far DreamWeaver

I see people designing web pages with this tool and the outcome is amazing!

The "best" is probably an editor like vi/vim/emacs or just a text editor thats customizable, has tons and tons of keyboard shortcuts, syntax highlighting, line numbering used by people who hate mouses (me) because they're slow as fvck.

Dreamweaver is good for the novice to intermediate who probably still needs help with the auto-insertion of HTML/CSS and the "friendly" UI. Some pros still use DW though.

Search engine optimization can be done with any HTML editor.

Most important factors are title tag name, h1 tag names, and sometimes filenames. Dreamweaver works fine for SEO.

Download a template and start edit the pages to gain some experience. In a couple of days you will get it ! And after we can talk about SEO SEF SERP
Thats in case it is not the only site you will make it. As i see in your sig, doesnt look to be the only one. :)
