    Hi,

Our site ranks very well on Google for "Free Games" but not on Yahoo. We're very interested in Yahoo traffic as it appears to be a popular term on Yahoo. Any Yahoo experts want to get hired to help us improve our rankings on Yahoo?

Yahoo adds weight to multiple outgoing links, whereas Google doesn't -- so that's one thing to keep in mind when link building. Yahoo also likes keyword stuffing more than Google afaik (this is all knowledge based off High Ranking's forum, so take it or leave it).

In the end, no one really knows how they do these things. Your best bet is to just give it time, keep building your links and find new ways to inject key words/phrases into your copy without scumming stuff up (in most cases there's always ways to add them in the footer, header, alts on images, etc).

Yahoo algorithm is based on on-page factors such as using of page title in the that appears in your site and using of alt tags to the images of your site that can make your content earlier. To improve rankings on Yahoo, make sure your meta tags include popular keywords that are relevant to your site\'s content.

I've used all of those on-page factors but I haven't seen much improvement. Maybe I need to wait a bit longer. How long does Yahoo take to update it's results?
