this is the only thread I could navigate to so far hope for best userCP is on top right and is under maintenance
Thumb down from my side as well, may be with th time we can adjust ourselves according to the new theme, But its really hard to read and navigate especially for the guys who spent so much time on DP and memorize where the buttons are, where to find the new things. Any way Good Luck
Is there any way to get a blue template? I think every vb version had a green and a blue template users could choos did this stay ?
The layout of the theme in general is terrible, information is harder to access. Along with this, the color scheme is awful - worse than any forum I've seen in fact, and when I click reply to thread it does nothing. All I can use in Google Chrome is quick reply. Give us an option to switch back to the old theme please. Obviously I'm not alone, appears the majority here dislike it as well. There used to be a button all pages on the top bar that said UserCP and that would show your thread subscriptions, now you have to click it and click list subscriptions. I think the list looks hard to read and in general is ugly and hard to use. Nothing about this switch is good IMO. No offense, just don't like it at all. Oh and when viewing threads there is a button with mail on it, and up to two other images before the actual post title - one for go to first post, another to indicate if it's an auction. These items along with the date underneath each thread are pointless and annoying. The date can be on the right side like before. The go to first post button is flat out retarded, clicking the thread does that. The auction thing doesn't really matter but could probably be relocated. All of that makes viewing threads harder.
Wow i can't believe you changed it! Looks MUCH better and is far more easy to browse through threads. I just didn't see the point of all the information below each thread when most people have large screens and high resolutions making it possible to put dates and the user who created it in a column on the right. Muuuuch better
Yeah, I agree... the less information the better as long as it has the necessary information. If you *want* to know when the thread was started exactly, you can mouseover the thread starters name now.
Not major, but when you hover over the envelope that is next to each thread, a blank box pops up with no alt text in it. And a minor suggestion: the go to last post image can be in the bottom right corner of the threads box right under the stars for the posts rating. Also 5-10% of posts are rendering incorrectly: http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/6273/capturecxr.png
man, this design is nice and actually would be nice if it was more on the bluish side but its good. I personally love it and think it was about time for a re-haul.
Although I have just noticed that, after you subscribe to a thread, the click here if not redirected button is not centred and overlaps the message text. That is a little irksome. And, when creating a new topic, the box that you click to say that the topic belongs in this forum has no label. Its just an orphaned text box.
Oh PS if you're going to have a button that says go to last post, you might as well have it when you list your thread subscriptions. That's the only time I'd use it, but I know I'm practically alone since it appears .00001% of people bother to actually read threads.
Mouse over text should be fixed. Not sure on the rendering issue. Try reloading... looks like your browser didn't get the CSS file. Fixed.
Another thing you could do is add alt text to the reply button saying double click for an advanced rely. A nice feature would be to move the whole window down in the scroll bar when you click in the quick reply textarea box. If this was done you would not have to manually scroll down to click the post quick reply button - it would already be there. Hope that made sense. Thanks for making all the other changes, looks great now.
Hey I've narrowed the issue down to happening when I post using the quick reply button. I'm using Chrome 4.0.249.89
Upgrade to Chrome 5? I know Chrome 4 had some issues (for me anyway) with sometimes not being able to get files (images for example) when they were there.
Hi, This morning, when I logged into DigitalPoint, there is a brand new look there which I don't like very much. How can I change it back to the old look? Please let me know. Thank you.
