i've been trying to make it look so the adds are a part of my website but i can't get the color just perfect. is there anyway to make the background of each ad transparent? suprising to me that google doesn't have an option. they have an open air pallette but that is with a white background. Racists! what about all the black websites!!
No you can't do that with adsense, you can do it via CSS in general. CSS code for transparent background/text: <h1 style="color:white;width:100%;filter:alpha(opacity=0);-moz-opacity:1.0;opacity:0;font-size:8px;line-height:2em;text-align:center;"> Your Text Here</h1>
I had the same problem before and I gave-up.. look at my ad on the right of my blog.. I used border to nake the colors difference not obvious..
People are playing and doing more with adsense ads but I think it is better not to try anything which gsense dont like...
Dont make the background transparent via CSS or you will get banned. Google requires its logo and text to be clearly visable, its text and logo automatically changes on the colour background you choose. They will not allow transparent backgrounds because then they would have no control over this!
Dont make transparent! background unless it's not allowed by Google plus it may also effect in your earnings too
is not possible because the "ads by google" text will be masked in some color combinations, the "ads by google" is changing when you change the backround ( white to black ) they will not allow this .
