Any way to insert non-Copiable Text in forum post

Does anyone have any idea if it is possible for me to make posts at my forum in a way so that people can not copy the text?

I thought about making it an image but that may make things load too slowly, and be a pain in the neck for users.

You can copy paste pdf files. It depends on the software. You can aways copy something.

If your business model really really depends on people not copying your content then you need to change business strategy or stop stressing about it.

Remember the DMCA is your friend. If you do find people are copying your content, whether it be forum posts or anything, file a DMCA complaint to the hosting company of the offending site (easy to do - you don't need a lawyer or anything).

Thank you, where do you file a DMCA complaint at?

Do DMCA laws apply to countries like China and Iran though?

You'll need to find out who owns the server (this is the server hosting company, not the person who "rents" the server even if it's a dedicated server) - you may need to do a traceroute for this. Then file the DMCA complaint with the server company.

If the server is in China or Iran I don't know . Most countries do honour copyright in one way or another though, so you'd need to find out about the protection in the area of the world where the server is located.

Feel free to ask or PM if any questions. I've done this before with good and speedy success (much credit to the Planet whose servers the offending material was on, and who acted quickly to remove it).
