Believe me.. I got the site www.realkk.com indexed within 8 hours by simply linking it from few of my other sites which are indexed regularly.. FYI the sites had a maximum of PR4 ..
It's possible, at least within 2 days. As others have said, you need a high PR link to your site. But not any high PR link will do. It has to be a frequently crawled high PR page. Check the date of Google's cache. There are PR7 pages that only get crawled once a month, so it won't help you putting a link there. This page http://www.furl.net/ gets crawled very often. If your site gets there it will be quickly indexed (and will have a decent bump in the SERPS too).
I don't know if this is completely the same, but a few weeks ago I posted an article about the "LG Veiwty" in my blog, I ate dinner and went back and it was number 8 in Google search for "Veiwty" which is around where it is now. This took about 20 minutes, I don't have any secrets to reveal because I don't know any, just posted the article

The only way is to have back link from very hight PR page. I don't know if google will indexed your site in one day but it's a way to get quickly in google index.
Hi dear, it is not a process of one day.When Google crawler crawl to your site then your page will get indexed if it seems to be eligible.You have to wait for crawler to crawl at once on your web page. So,for that time you can try to get back links.Good luck.
Any scratched website can not get indexed in google with in one day. You need to have patience there some way which helps to index fast but not a single website indexed in google on the next day after completion of its development. so after building website you need to use some seo methods for indexing your website in google and with some good tactics you will get indexed in google with in 3-4 days
I think to get to index You'd find few nice PR and quick indexing sites and try to leave backlink there. I think it's the only way.
Yes there are many ways to be indexed with Google in one day. But if you want to index with Google in one day with a blog then make atleast 10 posts in one and Google will index your site immediately. Please remember that before started 2nd post first add your site or blog in www.google.com/addurl and then start posting in your blog or site. My site was indexed within 3 hours when i did this procedure. Hoping it will help you great. There are also many other ways which will not only index your site/blog main page but also Google will include your posts and site pages in its search engine at high priorities and on top pages. Your posts will remain on top in Google pages. That is a little code which you have to use in your blog/site. But especially it will in your blog within 4 to 5 days.

Two ways to get a quick indexing with Google is to add your site via their webmaster tools or to add Google Analytics to your site. They crawl their own stuff very quickly. I personally do this if I'm trying to get some quick exposure. I may or may not leave the site in webmaster tools, but I always remove the Google Analytics code. I don't care what they say, I believe that those analytics can be used against you in rankings. Just my opinion...
