Any value when submit to brand new directories?

    Someone told me don't submit to brand new directory, because they don't has any value.

    How do you think?

    You missed my point -

    Even if the directory is new, years down the line it could be famous and have a big review queue. You'd be glad you got in it quickly.

    Mikey is right. And I will add that new directories offer something established directories normally dont, and that is fast reviews and fewer competing listings. Here's an article I wrote some time ago covering the subject in more detail.

    It is always good to get in at the begining you never know what might happen. Imagine getting invested in Microsoft at the begining

    I look at submitting to new directories like buying lottery tickets. Once in a while one of the new directories really takes off and you get value for placing your link there.
