Any Value to Yahoo! Search Submit Basic?

I am running a vBulletin forum with vBSEO at www.MapForums.com

I get about 0.1% of my traffic from Yahoo! Search and about 70% of my traffic from Google. I would think from the search engine market share, Yahoo! should be sending me at least 5 to 10% of my traffic? Btw, MSN/Live does send about 5% of my traffic and that seems reasonable to me.. it's just Yahoo! that is missing.

It's almost like Yahoo doesn't really know my site exists, or at least is not indexing the whole site content. Maybe it only indexes the home page. (Btw, I am using the vBSEO Sitemap Generator and it does seem to be submitted to Yahoo! successfully - and I see from the stats that the Yahoo! Slurp crawler does crawl my whole site regularly, almost as much as Googlebot).

So I did Yahoo! Search Submit Basic yesterday thinking that might wake it up to start indexing my content.

Anyone have any experience with this? Do you think it will help? Or is my $49 experiment a waste of time and money?

    Thanks,
    Eric

Anything specific you have in mind?

I've had the Feeds registered in Yahoo Site Explorer for years and everything looks fine as far as I can tell.

What else should I check or be doing with the yahoo webmaster tool?

    Thanks!
    Eric
