Any value in generic scientifc words?

It's not in your regular dictionary word because it's a scientific word. But it's a word nonetheless and has a meaning. And it's .com.

I know the value will depend on the word itself. But what would you guess the value of a such domain be based on these facts?

Thousands ($,$$$), if you can find a "private buyer". These type of names are what most pharmaceutical companies use to name their products and or services.

    Check estibot.com
Dont trust the dollar value they give you but take a look at the stats for advertisers and daily/monthly searches to see if it is a term anyone is interested in.
It could be worth hundreds or zero.

if it is very obscure, then take that into account. also check if it is a currently used word. it may be a valid dictionary word, but not in circulation anymore. otherwise, yes there is value in science words, instrument names, medical words, etc...

if it makes sense..then register it immediately..you would be able to sell it for sure..dunno for how much though..that completely depends on the actual domain..
