Any uses for spare SSL certificates lying around?

    Hi,

Like many, I've got a load of spare SSL certificates from namecheap registrations.

I don't run any payments through my website.

Can you think of any good use I could put these certificates to?

Perhaps they can be used to encrypt my logging in to wordpress or cpanel? Anything else?

SSL is mainly used for security, not for that many other things.

I guess you could install it to a website for secured login, possibly secure browsing and things of that sort?

SSL is being used more widely for more sites than just e-commerce. Securing a Wordpress or cPanel login is a great use if you have nothing else to do with the certificates. It will make some of your visitors feel more secure and increase the security and privacy of your site.
