Any updates regarding RegisterFly.Com?

    Hey there,
    As we all know that registerfly has been banned from ICANN, I just wanted to know that if anybody knows whats happening with this issue or has some crisply news regarding this matter please post it.

    As i am very eager to know about it! :rolleyes:

    That's right. Registerfly has been banned.

    Some big bad register has taken over the whois info. Last I tried I can still login to Registerfly but I cant unlock the domains to transfer out - no error nothing, lock status just wouldn't change.

    When your domains are close to expiring (60 days), said big bad register will email telling you your domains has been moved over to their company AND you're not allowed to transfer out because your whois info has been "modified" (by them) within the 60 days period.

    In short, you'll have to renew with big bad register.

    Yes, godaddy took over all the names. But I hate godaddy. It was so confusing and support is horrible.

    I use upnames.com instead.

    BTW why did they become banned in the fiorst palce? What happened?
