Any traffic from Google Blog search?

I had someone that found one of my blogs from a google blog search.
I never thought i could receive any traffic from it

Google advertises in Adsense the blog search, i found it in one of my blogs one of these days, that's really nice

 

it seems to be most often used when people are looking for download links, for some reason.

 

I had another visitor from blog search yesterday for my main keyword
I rank number 1 in google blog search for my keyword, it's party time!! LOL

 

Never even knew the thing existed until now....

Will have to wait and see how my blogs do

Do you guys rank well at blog search?
My blog is number one for my keyword, that helps getting ( few ) traffic from there...

 

Yeah, it is hit and miss. From what I am seeing, it is highly dependent on how often you update your blog. One blog I had not updated in over a month - no traffic from Google's blog search. I posted something and the next day half my traffic was from Google's blog search (not generic Google, just the blog search). But then that traffic dissapeared very quickly. Next post - same thing.

So, I think Google's blog search pushes active blogs up in the SERPs. Just an observation.

I get about 2-3 percent of my hits from there, and have for a couple months, now.
