Any Tool that converts keywords to adwords editor exact/match/broad standard?

I'm using a mac Adwords Editor 3.5.0. Although the editor is superb in many, many aspects, it pisses me off that I can't use the normal "keyword", [keyword], keyword when uploading using this tool.

Does anyone know a tool that'll convert "keyword" to "keyword{tab}broad", "keyword{tab}exact" and "keyword{tab}phrase" for easy adwords editor uploading?

    Thanks

I use AdWords Editor 3.5.0 for Windows and here's what I do.

    1. Select a campaign.
    2. Click on the Keywords tab.
    3. Highlight all of the keywords in that campaign.
    4. Then change the Match Type drop down list.

That method can change hundreds of keyword match types all at once. Is this what you are asking for?

I believe your method is for existing keywords. I'm speaking of new keywords that are going to be uploaded to the account using the editor. For that I use Data > Add/update multiple keywords, this section does not recognize the symbols "" [] that we use daily, but uses:
    keyword broad
    keyword exact
    keyword phrase

I'm looking for a free tool that will convert the keywords I have to increase productivity.

Again, the tool requires the word "broad, exact, phrase" to differenciate it.. not the symbols of " and []

Anyway, I just found a solution to it. You can use keywordmixer.com or any other keyword combination tools. List your keyword in column 1, then in column 2 list
    ,exact
    ,broad
    ,phrase

    (Yes.. with the commas. )

Then combine it, and paste it into the "add/update multiple keywords" section of the adwords editor and upload.

    Voila

or just load the keywords into adwords editor (any match type ) and then go to the ad group in Adwords editor - keyword tab.

Highlight all the keywords then copy and paste - the pasted keywords will then be highlighted and then change the match type on the highlighted keywords to another match type.

    Repeat if necessary.

    Like GFC, I use Excel...

Just be aware that if you're concatenating an " before and after a keyword using a formula, you need to put four ("""").

e.g. if cell A1 contains blue widgets with no punctuation (broad match), to get a phrase match version in B1, the formula would be =""""&A1&""""

Don't u think it's too much work? You need to upload the same keywords 3 times and set the match type twice.
