    Hi,

I'm still learning how to do Article Marketing.
I believe the most important part is to get your articles ranked in Google.

So is there any tips how you can get your articles ranked on first 2 pages of google?

I'm just doing social bookmarking, that's all.

    Thanks

You could try sumbitting a slightly rewritten article to the other directories but change your signature to link back to the main article on the best ranking site (like Ezines). These are generally better links than social bookmarking because they have content relating to the page you are linking to. Just make sure you submit to the dofollow article directories.

Write a lot of articles about a particular niche and submit to ezinearticles. you will gain high rank as a result of this.

If you don't like writing various versions of articles, someone told me to try FreeTrafficSystems.

Use social bookmarking sites such as digg, but just use as many as you can to link to one article. Or upload videos to youtube and link them to your article, lots of free traffic there.

I'm using social bookmarking already. I just wonder how some experts can rank their articles on the first page.
Basically after I submitted my articles, I'll do a bookmarking and that's it. Is there anything I miss out?

Interlinking with other relevant articles you have written whether it's from the same article directory or others. Also you can add the links from your articles to any other relevant blogs sites that you have.

The only other thing would be great content then others will link to it.

    cheers!

You need to submit to article directories, because they give your site a high PR backlink. Not everyone that is browsing the article directories is "stealing" articles. In fact, I have made quite a few sales on new products, when the articles did not have time to rank in google yet. Yes, the long term goal is to get your article ranked high in the search engines, but the initial traffic that you get from the article directories is quite targeted in some niches.

optimizing an article is just like optimizing a website. the only advantage you have is Ezine is PR6 so you have a head start.
This is what i would do.....

Write a few articles and see what one gets more sales by tracking. Dont worry about how many clicks each gets as that does not mean the clicks turn into sales. Ex: i had an article with 690 clicks and 4 sales and an article with 298 clicks and 7 sales!

    1. Find the article that converts the best just being in Ezine.

    2. Write a blog with good content and have a link with your keyword in it point back to the article. do this with Blogger, Wordpress and Squidoo just to name a few. update your blogs weekly and use other related keywords as links as well

    3. Social bookmark your article on a few sites a day. dont over do it as Google will see this as spamming.

    4. Post the article in do follow forums that are related to your topic.

    5. Post your article on do follow blog comments

    6. Try to find a site related to your topic with high PR and ask them to put your article with links on there page.

    7. Do this over a few weeks each day and you will be high up and stay there for a very long time.

you can also go to wikipedia and sign up and post your article as topic there....this helps your PR if done correctly.

This is the only way i know...

This must go just before the <html> tag :

    <?php
    $seedvar=$_GET['id'];
    ?>

This is how you write every link to Clickbank from your landing
    page:

    http://yourclickbankid.acnefree.hop.clickbank.net/?tid
    =<?php echo $seedvar;?>

But in this case you would replace the CB code with your site and the TID with the article. I write all my articles and lable them 1,2,3 and so on. Then if i make 20 sales on article 14, i know that is the winner for me.

So it would look like this:

    http://www.yousitehere.com/?article1
    =<?php echo $seedvar;?>

Then when someone clicks on your article from Ezine, they go to your site and the first code will copy the TID in the site and transfer it to the clickbank site when you make a sale.

I dont have php editor so this works on and off for me.

any one else have an easier way? Not to say this is not easy but i just have plain html WYSIWYG editor so the code does not work all the time.

Is it better to put your articles into an articles directory, or list them on your own site? Or does google not like if you were to put it in both your site and an article directory?

Submit them to an article directory. It takes a lot more work to rank an article on a small blog than it does to rank an EZ article.
