Any tips to get affiliates pushing my ebook?

I'm new to this. I have just opened a clickbank account for my ebook. The account is waiting approval.

When it is active is there anything I can do to get affiliates to push it or any other ways to increase traffic to it via clickbank? I'm not 100% sure how the whole thing works yet!!

    Any help appreciated.

I have had a website for a while now and I didn't make an affiliates page untill it was pretty popular. I currently offer 30% on any sales and that seems like a pretty good deal to people but it's not a product that sells fast

don't quote me 100% on this... but gravity is important here

if your product is brand new and of course with out any sales you wont have any gravity.. this means your product showing up all the way at the end of results.. on last page most likely.. of course unless some one orders by least gravity first but I'm sure that's less likely...

anyhow i would suggest to promote the product yourself as an affiliate.. maybe even create a couple affiliate accounts and promote your own product.. this way every time each one of your accounts sell your gravity rises..

Well there's a ton of affiliates here on this forum so why not let us know about your product via a signature link or just by posting about your new product. If it's good you will pick up affiliates here easily who will start promoting it.

Ahhh.....it's not a clickbank product is it? If it is 30% is a crummy commission and I'd be surprised if anybody promoted your product and I know any serious affiliates wouldn't even glance at it.

If you have a good product in a space that has some traffic and isn't overwhelmed with marketers - and make an attractive offer to affiliates - I think they'll find you.
