Today I said "it's time to put up or shut up" I started a adwords site targeted campaign and ended up with 28 clicks and a bill for $26.00, with the another campaign & adsense revenue I ended up being $29.00 in the red. So far I from looking at the affiliate reports I haven't had any conversions. This is the ad that got most of the clicks. Unlocked Cell Phones Priced below retail, no contracts Newest models & large selection. clockworkcs.com/contract_free And the landing page. http://clockworkcs.com/contract_free_phones.htm Any free advice? I've already lost too much money today.
I'll give you my 2 cents on this... 1. You can't really judge by only 28 clicks, I don't think it is enough stats for you to decide to pull out or continue. 2. If you are in red $29 and concerned now? I would stop with this campaign and pick a different niche. You could find different keywords or sites that you could get more clicks for less cost per click. (Does this make sense?) I think paying $26 / 28 clicks = $0.92 per click? You have to be honest with yourself and see what your risk tolerance? Will you want to test with more money and still handle no conversions but you can get more data? 3. What does your quality score look like for keywords? I know you said this is site targeted... Where are you pushing this ad? URL/Category? or Are you picking the site yourself? 4. What about pulling up pics? Cell phone pictures above the fold so people will see that immediately instead of your words. Insert words on the bottom, up the table with pictures on it. 5. Cellular-Blowout is only program you can promote? Is there any competition you can become an affiliate with? Sometimes you can promote two or more and compare stats? See which one company converts better. You just need to test more and see what works and work doesn't or move on and pick a different niche. Good luck and keep me informed how things go from there.
Thanks a lot for your time and effort. I was hoping that I could get a niche pushing the unlocked phones and I do want to continue. But don't have a any money to waste experimenting. I'll definately use your advice. Thank you again!
