If you're interested enough in your topic, you can always write and submit articles to promote your site. Otherwise, the quickest way to get traffic right away is probably to buy it. For longer term, work on increasing your site ranking. Look up Bookmarking Demon and PRStorm for ways to build backlinks. There are plenty of ways... just look around
Organic SEO is the slower but better way in the end to get traffic. I love to have my sites rank high in the SERPs.
I have a site that is about a month old. My end goal is to get steady real traffic and obviously make money. At this point, I would be happy if I broke even. I have spent about $100 on the business. In the first few days I found 1 way that got me a lot of traffic but then I was banned for “spam†yet it wasn’t spam…it was posting on a particular forum. After that I turned to Search Engine traffic. Let me just say for a new site, search engine traffic is almost non-existent. I get maybe 4-5 visitors so far in the first few weeks. I have added the site to every possible search engine, directors, blogs you name it … I even did a PR release ïŠ Earlier this week, I bought 10,500 visitors. They send a max of 100 visitors per hour as to not overload my site. So far for the month of June, I have received 3,135 visitors to my site. Out of that 3,135 visitors – 12 have actually clicked on my product. Out of those 12, if 1 turns into an actual sale I will be happy. To break even on just the amount I spent on the 10,500 visitors I need 1 sale. 3,135 visitors with only 12 clicks is less then a 0.5% click ratio. This is not impressive at all! Prior to me paying for the traffic, my click ratio was around 3%. Now, for my particular product I only need 1 person out of the 10,500 to actually buy my product and I will end up making a few cents/dollar on the deal. With 10,500 visitors and .05% click ratio – I should have about 525 clicks. Out of 525 clicks, I will happy if I get 1% which is 5 sales. I hope that all makes sense to you. My point is that buying traffic appears to be working yet you really need to understand how few people will actually buy and what your break even point is.
for these niche,if you want quick traffic it is better to use the forums. There can be many people interested and you may try to get subscribers. But the better way is always to get the organic results.
make good, related and quality links.... submit your site in directories.. and post articles... Cheers
You need to find out how to drive QUALITY TRAFFIC!!! this is where the sales are stuff driving any old traffic You want to get your self on niche related forums - Article Writing- Blog comments on niche related blogs There is no point sending traffic to your site if they are looking for golf materials is there? it's all about the QUALITY not the qauntity pal Good luck
For me, the best way to gain traffic is comments on the niche blog or post thread in forums. Related niche is important to give the best visitors. Great blog bro!

Your best bet would be to simply ignore Alexa and it's spam filled spyware laden toolbar. The ONLY time your Alexa rank will make a difference is if you are selling links or your site. Passed that NO ONE cares one lick about Alexa, and MOST people outside of webmaster circles even knows what it is. Though, if you insist on building your Alexa rank, then download this toolbar --> http://www.quirk.biz/searchstatus/ it's less intrusive then the real thing, and gives a LOT more useful content for yourself. You may also wish to put the Alexa widgets on your site, to better "track" and count visitors. http://alexa.com/siteowners/widgets Honestly though, it's all a waste of time... focus on Yahoo & Google. You'll do better in the long run for your site.
