www.bestbetaffiliates.com here is my site so far (its still being developed with more affiliates) only a few months old and i'm averaging around 5-14 visits per day, i've also gone social with a general youtube video for ad purposes only, facebook and twitter, not really regularly posting much on them though so far i'm happy with the site, i took a break from websites around 2 years ago and i'm slowly appreciating what i left behind, this site on its own is generating quite a bit of money weekly, but obviously that money can't be withdrawn until i reach the limit on affiliates (usually £100) any tips on marketing? maybe some guest posting or more backlinks
Hi Mark, I had a look at your site, its content rich and within in a niche which is great, however I noticed its missing a crucial element, a subscribe/optin form. You mentioned you get around 5 to 14 visits a day. Lets say some of those visitors visit your website once, they like your site, then leave but then never return. This could be because, they forget, they can't be bothered or they didn't bookmark your site etc. What if you had a subscription/optin form on the side bar or even a pop up (after few seconds on arriving at the site), then ask them to subscribe for email updates, or email newsletter. When some of those visitors subscribe and then leave and never return, you don't have worry about it, because you can get them back to your site by sending a quick email about a new post or an update using your email marketing service. In addition you can send them cool offers on products and services related to your niche through emails to increase your earnings. If you can manage to build up thousands of subscribers like this, you have at your disposal, a highly targeted list of people who you can get to your site almost instantly through an email broadcast to your "list". Its instant traffic on demand, when you need it! Email marketing is powerful stuff. Hope this helps and all the best. Saeed
thanks for the feedback saeedKhan, might have to give that one a try, my returning visitors at the moment on analytics are at around 30% so adding that in might keep them coming
