I have saved up $500 dollars to invest in affiliate marketing and want to become successful with making websites. Below I have formulated a plan and want to see if any of the experts have an idea on how to make it better. My goal is work 5 hours a day, 7 days a week and by the end of June I want to be making at least $500 dollars a day. The plan: 1. Pick a niche a. Find one without much competition b. Pick best keywords using google keyword tool c. Get affiliated with corresponding merchants 2. Build a website a. Use a free template b. Add self-wrote content c. Add google ads and affiliate links d. Add more pages over time 3. Promote the website a. Use correct meta tags and make a sitemap b. Submit to search engines c. Post website in signature d. Submit to digg and stumbleupon e. Repeat So here is my plan does anyone have any tips? I realize they may be trade secrets but any tips will be great appreciated. I thinking if one or two people want to work with me we could work independently but share our results through our pursuit of becoming successful affiliates. Happy New Year!
$500 is really achievable but u need to put some serious EFFORTS ! Aim for $100 a day first and things will just roll on later
Is there anything that I am missing to make it to a 100 or 500 dollars a day? Is a 6 month time frame realistic?
I don't know whether 6 months in a realistic time frame. Aim for $100 in 6 months and anything more is a bonus.
I would just add that you can do all those things and still not earn a penny. I don't mean to discourage you, just be realistic, you might (make that "probably will") have a few failures before you see any results. Don't put all your eggs in one basket, but also don't spread yourself too thin either!
I think that is a fairly good plan. I'm still fairly new to this "affiliate marketing" thing. But your plan of action is better than mine. Good job.
I would say really really push for organic traffic. write lots and lots of content. create a ton of blogs on different servers. link exchange from other sites to your blogs and sites. $500 a day gross revenue is possible, but $500 profit will be difficult IMO, especially with the current market; everyone is trying to make money online. But one thing I would do is focus on multiple different niches. By June you should have 50 niches with a number of blogs and websites for each. If your pushing 200 different sites, you should be able to make $2.50 from each per day. best of luck
It is great you are setting your aims high but if you are new to affiliate marketing I doubt you will profit $500 per day but I hope you do prove me wrong
