    Forget about waiting. YPN isn't paying good like before. Even BidVertiser beats it hands down.

    I applied 4 time to YPN, I got denied twice and the last 2 times they did not even bother to reply. lol
    I spaced out the sign-ups tries by 2 months each. I am based off in the USA, and have a SSN. My site gets plenty of traffic....but maybe the problem is getting traffic from outside the US ? Because over 50 percent of my traffic came from overseas. That might have been the problem. (not that it's specifically targeted to non-us user on purpose!)

    Getting into YPN is damn near impossible. Been on the "list" for close to a year and a half now. Unless you have been banned by Google, go with Adsense. They approve in as little as 24 hours.

    I would love for Yahoo to open this program so they can compete with good! Google has monopolized the whole AdSense program competition is good!:cool:

    waituk, it's the same for adsense and other networks. Clicks, impressions and earnings are scheduled to be reviewed just a few days before payout. Reviewing once a month saves them a lot of money. Revenues from banned accounts will just go back to advertisers.

    Agree. They always do that which is quite unfair to the banned publishers. At least, they're deserved to know what's going on and how they can solve/get second chance, etc.

    the point is there is no point, you got to have a good web site to let Yahoo approve your account.

    Ok just a quick update to this thread.
    I now have finally been accepted after 7 trys.
    I used my oldest and best site this time and im very happy to be part of ypn now :)

    But so far in the 2 days ive been signed up, i notice the pay and ctr is alot less then google adsense.
    Im not useing them on the same web pages together either.

    And also i must add googles still my best pick and i can also say in 2 days with yahoo, its still by far better the adbrite and bidvertiser and all the other alternatives ive tried.

    So in summery its hard as heck to get into YPN, but it seems a decent program but still not up to par with adsense but still better then most others :)

    Yahoo always replied to me-with the exact same verbage, but I doubt they will survive long enought to go "public".

    I applied twice and received the same letter as kewlchat first time around... I re-applied a couple of months later with another site and so far haven't heard anything... doesn't look promising however... I'm beginning to wonder if they'll ever go public also...

    Oh well... such is life... will just have to find a better way... =}

    I applied with my #1 site that gets tons of traffic and was accepted within a week. I think there just being really picky to not waste resources on small startup sites.

    Here's the way I see it. If YPN won't accept you, then don't get upset over it. Just walk away, and don't look back. You don't need them anyway! They are actually in need of you. Though they are too blind to see that!
