I thought about selling it but had no takers. I've gotten maybe half a dozen blog posts and media references in the past month but I don't have much vision for what to do with it. What do you think its worth? Thanks for your time.

I would say mid $XX. No pagerank and very little traffic (from what alexa told me). If you look at your alexa stats (http://www.alexa.com/data/details/t...m&compare_sites=&y=r&url=www.AOLleak.com#top), youll see that the hype is generally over. With no additional content that could be added to the site (from what I can think of), the site doesnt have much future. I could be very wrong however. Hope that helps.

Well, could be a good 'historical' website, reporting all information leaks from AOL. All of us know it's bound to happen again. My real concern would be TM.

I agree there could be an issue with TM but I for sure hold onto it! You never know what the future hold for AOL . It could possibly be a gold mine

I've gotten a little more than 1000 hits and am getting about 10 / day now. I guess I'll hold on to it. The adsense is fantastic (best CPC of any site I've ever owned) but just a few clicks so far. Thanks for the advice all.

Trademark infringement, discontinue the domain name. It is worth nothing but troubles and hassles.

using a name isn't necessarily infringement is it? Is Google-Sucks.com illegal? Pretending to be them would be bad, but tv news can show aol's logo while reporting about them cant they?

TanMonkey, you are infringing the trademark if you are using the trademarked name/logo for anything.

Although some trademark owners allow non-commercial sites to use their names in a non-negative way but they as sure as hell can sue them and demand money for Trademark infringement if not a legal punishment.

As far as Television is concerned, its the media and who doesn't want media coverage? and I am sure that all that stuff doesn't count as Trademark infringement, ie News and Information.

Google Sucks may well be sued for Trademark infringement as well.
