I am working on a new site and I was going to make a directory but there are so many out there. I was wondering if anyone here had any suggestions on how to make it unique. www.kingoftheweb.net I hope that this is the right place to ask this I am still new here. Any help would be appericated
Hey, The best site is one with great content. Start there and then build the directory around it. If you want to make it unique, find a niche that is not being covered. I see you like cars so why not make an Automotive directory but target it to one specific thing like racing or modifications or something like that. General directories are a dime a dozen. Keeping it targeted may also help with Google... Good luck.
i suggest you play with your concept. indeed, you fina niche that is not yet being covered. search around and you'll see what is missing.. then work on that. it is also important that you do what you are interested in.. ideas will just come out along the way..
Looking at your avatar, you seem to be interested in cars. Maybe you can start a car specific directory, I haven't seen any car specific directories so far. Good luck...
The first thing I noticed was your middle to tables kinda done like a google ad - I would change the colors of the Google ad to match your site - Once you do start getting traffic I believe that will bring a higger ctr
