Any suggestions regarding SEO?

Hello,
I own a music search engine site which is pretty new, its the second site in my signature. If you look at the source you can very clearly see that I am bad at SEO and so I was wondering if any of you guys could give me suggestions on how I would go about optimizing the site properly. Any recommended keywords/improvement in meta description etc will be very helpful.
I went through google keyword finder but I couldnt actually make fruitful use of it except I found these keywords to be pretty good :

Those keywords are having very high competitive so you could not compete with it easily.

You need more back links and you can try to do Social bookmarking like digg, Stumbleupon etc..

Play with Orkut you will get more visitors to your website..

 

forget about link building for a minute, you need to get text on your page, currently it doesnt actually say in any detail what your site offers, google doesnt like this, it likes to know what you do, if its relative to the keywords your targetting and is your content unique!

once youve got some good content and keywords in your title, then you can think about doing off page seo with link building etc...

this might be a good site to submit to digg i imagine they would enjoy it!

This is good concept and website is clean, here are few suggestions
- your onsite status is poor where you can really work (title meta, content and internal linking)
- URL rewriting for dynamic pages with query string is required
- Almost all the pages have same title meta ( i have checked only few pages), you need to keep it unique. for dynamic pages, you can generate it dynamically with some variations in keywords.

you need at least 500-600 words on each page !

 

First do a keyword research for the site pick the relevant keywords and after this write a copy with atleast 500 words use those keywords with their synonyms google uses LSI technology which automatically searches for related words to make the search look more natural link to important internal pages of the site rewrite the urls and use the keywords for better results use different title for every page..
After doing on page optimization concentrate on building quality links and also use social media for the publicity of your music search engine i am sure you will get lots and lots of traffic good luck.

if your website is new then don't try to do too much seo. Build links slowly and use some content on your website.

 

I think yahoo answers can also give back links and more visits to your website.

 

wel....prepare a good Relevant content and start doing off page i.e directory submission, article submission and social bookmarking...
