You're taking on a very competitive market. I'd advise you to either focus your efforts on PPC campaigns, hire an SEO company or find some automated tools to post your products in Kijiji and Craigslist. You're competing against any billion dollar market and with companies that literally spend millions of dollars in advertising.
This is a very highly competitive market but that only means there is lots of money to be made in this market! If you can just capture a small fraction of the market share you will be very rich. I wouldn't do any PPC marketing. There is so much traffic in this niche that a PPC campaign will eat your wallet alive in just a short time. SEO is also very difficult to get into, this niche is already super-saturated and getting ranked for targeted keywords would be difficult. If you focus on the long-tail keywords for this industry you can probably see some good success. You should scope out some websites that are related to the product you are promoting and contact the website owners directly asking if they will put up some banner ads or something on their website.
