Hi there Im trying to work out what would be the best colours to have for a financial services company called Assetwise. The words Asset & Wise would be different colours. Doing financial planning, insurance, investment property, mortgages etc I need it to give the impression of solid, trust worthy, dependable, strong, successful etc Any thoughts? Cheers. Scott
I have found that most financial services use red & white or Blue & white, primarily. Yellow, or pastels do not seem to work as well. If using black, keep it it to text, & perhaps just in moderation if on the logo. Simple clean, yet bold colours & design appear to give the air of authority. At least this is my experience from knowing & networking with many IFA's, accountants, FDs, etc over the last 3-4 years. The choice is, of course, yours.
Hey Scott, Go for dark blue (royal or navy) with a white background. This always looks very professional on a site. I hope this helps. Kat Fuschillo
I would stay away from flashy bright colors. Keep it simple, a mix of one dark color and a lighter shade of that color works well.
Hey guys and Gals. Thanks for your thoughts on the colour choices I should use for the logo. It occurred to me I should show you the logo as it is and get your feedback on what colour to have it. Its red and black (Or red/dark grey). But I feel that the colour red makes it potentially hard to integrate the colours into brochures etc, because when you put it as background colours or use the logo colours anywhere else the red becomes pink when faded back or softened. So, any ideas on a nice color combo for this? Im also wondering if I need an icon or logo pic of some sort to go with it? Or maybe its strong enough as it is?
