I have two Swedish mis-spelled domains that brings like 1000 uniqe visitors each month.
I had them for like 7 months and finally i pointed them at my Dating website i have.

Thats 10-13 000 extra unique visitors each month, not sure if it will bring any sign-ups or sales but is this a method anyone of you are using? Any success with this method?

    Mis-spelled domains= Like Facebppk.com instead of Facebook.com.

    Gogole.se is a great example, i mis-spell Google.se like 10 times a week.
It would be interesting to know how many unique hits that guy gets each month.

I wouldn't bother with typo domains that might infringe on trademarks, as it could land you in legal hot water. Especially not in regards to big companies like Facebook and Google. Google recently filed a lawsuit against the owners of oogle.com (and lost)- More about it on this thread:

Mis-Spelled Domains would be better off on Godaddy Auction lists I've Seen Multiple starting as low as $6,000 and people buy them within 90 days!!!

    with typo traffic you have:
    a) LOW success rate if you point it to related site (99% people still say wtf why am I seeing this instead of say facebook I was going to
    b) ZERO success rate if you point it to unrelated site
    c) REASONABLE success rate (ad clicks) if you park it using the very keyword they mistyped (so if the ad says "facebook" many would would click on it).

That's not recommended.. At all. It's a clear case of copyright infringement. check DMCA 2000.

Before you decide to register a misspelled domain name, just keep in mind that a misspelled domain name is, well, misspelled. It's a typo. You cannot build a successful and professional website with a misspelled domain name.
