Any success with blog networks?

I've used NetworkedBlogs and Blog Catalog for a while but have never seen much traffic from them. Any suggestions on how to make the time spent on these worthwhile?

 

i tried them limited extent.
with great content, they could help. otherwise i dont think it would hardly make any dent on total.

Blog catalog isn't as good as before. With these things, keep in mind that there are tons of people whom are competing with you.

 

I've seen good traffic from mybloglog.com. But sad to say, Yahoo has some plans to shut it down.
