If you have had success generating revenue out of your joke site website would you please post what your source is? I have a jokesite that receives a good 500 uniques a day but generates me very very little income, I earn less than $5 a month with adsense. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks for the reply but the URL is irrelevant for this topic. The content is jokes, and the adsense ads pay horrible. Even with a 10% CTR I would still be only pulling in about $1 a day. Thus I am asking if anyone has any experience with any advertising sources that pay well for joke/humor content. Thank you.
I've got a joke site that gets a couple hundred clicks a day via adsense, yet pulls less income than some other sites that only get a dozen clicks. Theirs no money in jokes. No product or service that would dump any money into adwords for that niche. Just gotta live with it or sell out.
Perhaps affiliate links for dvd movies? Comedies... maybe comics? Try to expand to include reviews? TV series info/review, theater / stand-up reviews, ticket sales...
