Any specific order for htaccess?

    Is there a good tutorial somewhere that someone who has a limited understanding of htaccess can understand? I'd like to determine if there's a proper order to list things in htaccess. I noticed my CP has put blank lines between some things, yet not others.

    For instance, I have a couple of ips listed to deny access. One has blank lines before and after, while another one doesn't. I'd like to make sure everything is in a logical order, and reading the Linux docs was very confusing to me.
