Any Special Way To Promote a Facebook page?

I've never really been into Facebook - But I decided to create a fan page on there for one of my websites. I'm just curious how you attract people to the page?

For example, you create a fan page about your mustang website
Then you see a similar mustang car fan page with thousands of fans. How could you attract those fans to your page? With the ultimate goal of getting them to your website!

Add as many friends as you can, mention your fan page in messages to them and invite as many people as you can to your page. Simple, but effective... Catch is, you have to stay on top of it and keep it up all the times.

 

It seems like your ultimate goal is visitors to your website, right? Would you be better off developing a good set of keywords and they marketing them? It might be just me but adding a facebook page to get people to your website seems like more work than it is worth.

And after a huge success with Myspace, I figured Facebook could be another great place to promote my site and attract members. Why not?

Seems like it may be a better idea just to create a regular profile for the site and add people with it instead maybe?

 

just add many more friend and send him massage or post comment about promote your face book otherwise you can also post link to your friend

 

I just started a Fan Page on Facebook too, after a huge success with MySpace. However, Facebook JUST changed the layout pages of Fan pages so that they look more like regular user pages. (Annoying).

Anyway, a fan page is still the way to go, or group page if it makes sense for your business.

You can't really add a regular profile page for a company. Facebook will delete it or not allow certain profile names or email addresses...

 

You can do it that way as well.

 

Article submission, related forum posting and search engine will be the best

I would send a message out to my friends, put my fan page in a forum sig, send a tweet out to my twitter following, make a note on my blog, maybe put together a video with link.

 

One little trick I've found is to create a backlinking campaign where the links say "(GROUPNAME) on facebook". It turns out that "___ on facebook" can be a search term, do some keyword research and you might find a way to make your group appear in the #1 spot very easily for these lesser known search terms.

Yes, Thats true everybody want to high traffic to website but i don't how to get visitors from facebook?

Please explain in brief with step by step.

 

You can use facebookbay.com specifically for this purpose.Apart from that use other blog and website promotion methods to bring traffic to your facebook page.

 

To promote a fan page is increase your friend list ask them to join that fan page or you can do status update with a message of joining fan page in status. Let people know in other relevant discussion boards from you fan page.

 

Above all giving the best ideas. I am also promoting my facebook and twitter profile and I am adding so many friends daily with sending message to them about my free services. So you can do something like this.

 

spend more more time in DP .............and gave the answer of all questions of other DP users.......send him friend request ..........you are also using back link also.......
