    Hello DP members, I'm new here.

    My previous usual place to trade links and services is now a ghost town due to the new $5 fee to post a SitePoint trade thread.

    Too bad, but I'm warming up my account and getting used to things over here. I've already made some good trades, and have to say this is a much more relaxed atmosphere here, and look forward to doing more trades and business here. Thanks.

    Any other new members here from SP?

    This site was better than I expected. I think I will stick around regardless. I don't like to be treated like crap, as do others. Especially when I pay for services and do business around there on a regular basis. Oh well. They served me up on a silver platter guys! I'll join the club.

    SitePoint hasn't realized how saturated the market is. There are a lot more ponds! And when one fish is eating too much out of the pond, the other fish will migrate to a new pond! SP was doing a great job distinguishing themselves in the market. Now, their ego inflated a bit too much.

    Anyways, Thanks for accepting us!

    Welcome Thermit. Glad you found your way to DP. Although I am a member at both forums and will not bash the other(because I soooooooooooooooo could because of their new way of dealing with all their forum topics with money $$$$$$$ blingblingpoint.com) I do still visit SP as often as I can. There is still some useful info there.

    As the official SitePoint King of 2006, I welcome you all to DP. Even there King apostasized!! I just did it two months ago. :D:D

    All their King asked of them was to upgrade vBulletin, and they couldn't even do that!!!!

    Well, they lowered their price in the TYS area that caused so many SP members to flock to DP. However, I'm sticking around. I like it here. :)
