Any shortcut key for creating new layer in flash 8?

    Is there any shortcut key for creating new layer in flash 8? Getting mad without knowing this. Getting even worse when searching for this, online..

    Also, is there any shortcut key for applying shape tween in flash 8?

    I'm not that familiar with Flash but isn't layers known as "frames" in Flash 8? If so the shortcut to create new "frames" in Flash 8 is F5.

    If frames and layers aren't the same thing then I don't know, sorry.

    No, layer and frames are not same. Layer is something that contains a set of frames. Both are different.

    Oh, Ok. Sorry about that. Anyways, I found this page that has most of the shortcuts for Flash 8:

    It says that the shortcut for a new layer is CTRL + N
