Any SEO explanation?

Since I build my site, 3 months ago, Google has always bring in the most searches but, in the last 2 weeks, the difference has increased a lot. Does anybody knows of any special, or specific, SEO explanation for having that extremely disproportional number of searches between these engines?

    Examples:

This (13 days so far) month:

    - Google 135 ______________ 74.3 %
    - MSN 40_________________ 21.9 %
    - Earth Link 2 ______________ 1.0 %
    - Unknown search engines 2____ 1.0 %
    - Yahoo 2 _________________ 1.0 %
    - Google ( Images) 1 _________ 0.5 %

    Last (28 days) month:

    Google 170 ________________ 64.3 %
    MSN 81 __________________ 30.6 %
    Yahoo 4 ___________________ 1.5 %
    AOL 3 ____________________ 1.1 %
    Unknown search engines 2 _____ 0.7 %
    Dogpile 2 __________________ 0.7 %
    MetaCrawler (Metamoteur) 1 ___ 0.3 %
    AltaVista 1 _________________ 0.3 %

    Thanks,

Last month MSN was 81 in 28 days. This month 40 in 13 day x2=80 about same

Last month Google was 170 in 28 days. This month 135 in 13 days, for a this month if it keep going this way it should have about 270, at that rate Google will be 100 more than last month.

Okay then... maybe Google picked you up more... :)

Have you compared the keywords people are coming in with?

They have about the same ones. The one thing I notice different is that Google is bring up the keywords for the new, updated, pages and in some searches is showing the old pages keywords and text too but these keywords and text no longer exist in the new or any other pages at the site.

I'm new to playing with the SEs and I figure I should ask the people that knows if there was something in particular that could create this type of action. It maybe that more people are searching Google than MSN just like you said.

Sounds a bit like the Google "sandbox" effect to me... in which case your rankings were held back for about 3 months, and recently "released."

MSN is definitely much better for giving a new site good rankings faster... but they get way less traffic than Google. So all in all, the pattern you're showing doesn't surprise me at all.
