Hi folks. I just had an idea of a site from somewhere. Basically it can notify a user via email or RSS if a web site they use often updates anything on theirs. But because many web sites, especially commercial ones, don't seem to offer an option of their own to notify users of changes via, say, email or RSS, I am wondering if there's a script that does something like this: 1. Goes through the web page of the site in question. 2. Caches historical pages on its own. 3. Can send an update to the end user if that site or has changed. One thing I want to emphasize that I'm intending this not to infringe copyright of someone's site. Again, it's to possibly provide a way to tell users if the site or so has changed anything on their content. Preferably free, of course. But any suggestions welcome.
