Hey everyone! I am looking to buy some new .info domains. Just wondering if there is any sale going on anywhere (like the Godaddy $0.99 sale that happened sometime ago) that you guys know of so I could buy them cheap. Or if there is any place where I could buy them real cheap (for about $1 maybe), do let me know... thanks a lot!
It is always a catch buying a cheaper domain for the first year. (for example .info). Later on for the 2nd year, they will charge higher rate compared to the market. If you hit and run type of domain buyer, i guess it is ok.
Uh yeah. This is called promotions. Regardless of a $2 .info, there are many registars that hand out discount/coupon codes to make domains cheaper and than charging the normal price the 2nd year. Common practice to bring in new customers. Sometimes some registars do buy 1 get one free. I think Dotster was one. Which pretty much came out to the same price if you were to buy 2 domains at Godaddy. But to the OP. There are plenty of places offering a cheap .info atm. I am sure that with the new price increases that ICANN set for registars, in due time I am sure there will be an awesome to come along soon.
