    Youtube is a great place to start! Also, Gimp has a lot of overlap with photoshop so you might want to join their community as well!

    Lynda.com but you have to purchase a membership for you to access everything. It's a good site for anything you want to learn.

    psd.tutsplus.com is most definitely a great website, but it doesn't get more extensive than lynda.com. Im a huge fan of lynda.com, you can get a free trial for a week I think, and you can learn a lot about photoshop in that week. Check out the sections called Deke's techniques.
