Any quick way to get into Yahoo WITHOUT paying?

I have not paid the $299. I believe the directory is dead, but it might be worth it to you for Page Rank.

 

I submitted my page almost 6 months ago and still nothing.

hopefully they'll get to it eventually... maybe.

Yep, I agree. The free submission is crap. We just coughed up $300 for inclusion in the directory and just got our acceptance email today. It says we'll be added in 2-3 days, so I'm not sure how beneficial it is yet...

 

I agree it is a rip off to pay the $300 im not even listed high with them after i paid, but and im not sure this goes for everyone but after a few weeks of being in ODP and yahoo directory ( listed about the same time) my keywords in google started to get to number one and im not talking one or two or even still keywords but hundreds of top quality ones, so i hate paying but i would hate to stop and find out it was the main reason for my google ranking.

 

Get links from sites that are in yahoo. very fast.
