    Who will win the origin?

QLD does look good on paper. I can't believe Prince isn't in the time. IMO Thurston is overrated they had to fit Prince in there somewhere. Not that I care coming from NSW :p

    Go the blues!

You're joking arn't you, Maroons will win easily, just like the last two years!

Mal Meninga wanted Karmicheal Hunt, and he got him. He is an impact player!

It's a bit worrying that Lockyer won't be there this year, QLD will miss him.

    GO THE MAROOOOOOOOOON'S!

Lockyer is past his prime they won't miss him much.

Karmicheal Hunt is tough but better then Slater? No way!

You better aim up cause the Blues will hit hard.

We are QUEENSLANDERS mate, tougher than any cockroach.

    From Thursdays Australian:

What I have thoroughly enjoyed in recent seasons, though, are the rugby league Origin games where the passion is extraordinary. I can't quite get my head around how much feeling there is between NSW and Queensland. I won't call it a hatred because that borders on something unsociable, but the desire to beat the other state is extreme to the point where clubs readily see their best players injured and it is an accepted part of the game.

Clubs even get annoyed and insulted and ask for answers if one of their best players is not selected to play for their state. That wasn't quite the attitude of the AFL coaches last week even though most were supportive of the match.

The rugby league Origin games are ferocious to the point where it doesn't matter if a New South Welshman plays with a Queenslander in the same NRL side, there is no love lost. It is absolutely the most full-on, brutal affair I have come across and I must say I really like watching them.

The injuries don't matter, as long as we beat New South Wales.

He taught Hunt everything he knows about about directing play.

Slater is as dumb as an ox, you need to be both tough and smart in this game.

So will the Maroons, but I will say this, with the NSW selectors, leaving out Anasta, and QLD leaving out Prince, and so many other in form players missing out on representing their respective states, it shows what an incredible level the game is at.

Good luck for State of Origin 2, you will need it :)

What a dominant performance from the men in Blue, you definitely missed Prince out there.
