Any prove that nofollow backlink is good for SERP?

Of course it is really easy to find a nofollow backlink that right for our topic.

But is it really worth our time to create these nofollow backlinks?

Some people say that nofollow backlink may not give us PR juice, but it can help our SERP in google.

    Is this true?

    No it's not worth while

as it won't help you in SERP!

but it may bring traffic to your site...

It has only one good side, it may be good for traffic, it is all.

In fact NoFollow links are supposed not to help at all for SERP.
So what proves do you need? NoFollow links don't effect SERP.

no follow is to prevent helping your PR and SERP.... but you could use it to gain referral traffic from other sites

I think it's strange though that Google will actually record NoFollow links as backlinks in Webmaster tools, and yet they ignore some of the real DoFollow links i have

anyone else see this with their backlinks in google?

So even if the link is recorded in site explorer or webmaster tools, it is still useless in terms of helping SERPs?

Yes, if the search engine doesn't follow then there is no gain, but a well written comments still might drive traffic.

I think the only thing it would be good for is viral marketing -- and you get traffic straight through the link when someone clicks on your link.

Are you sure it counts in SERPS? As the google-bot wont cache any no follow links from what I understand?
