    Hi All,
A very warm Hello to all the members here. I am new to this forum and therefore would want some advice. We have our brand website running in the .in version (that is www.abc.in). It has been more than 10 years since this website has been live & all the web pages have a PR 6 or 7. We have been running Google PPC Ads as well done a lot of SEO and because of which the site is coming well in search rankings of Google.

Now since the site is running in .IN extension we want to move it to the .COM extension. 301 redirect .Now our main worry is that if we move the .IN domain to the .Com extension with a permanent redirection to all the .IN URL's then we may loose our rankings and our activity history in PPC and Google would consider us a new player in PPC and therefore we would have to do a lot of hard work to again built our History so that our adds appear well in the paid listing and also would we be able to retain our position in organic listing

So would it be fine if we move all our .IN URL's to the .Com domain.
The .Com website would exactly be the same as the one we have in our .IN extension.

We would request you to kindly give your inputs as this is really important. :)

    Regards
    -Network4u

You'll face a little fluctuation in SERP, whatever you do.
I'd like to remind you to use "Change of Address" in Google Webmaster Tools along with the proper 301 redirections.

DON'T DO THIS! in my experience - from a few years ago, things may have changed since then - even if you 301, there will be massive losses and it will take time for your site to recover. a LOT of time, months if not years. an OLD domain will always be more powerful than a new domain. you have nothing to gain and everything to lose.

301 permanent redirect would take care of SEO, but it will surely create problem in SEM.
