I plan to start a site like wordpress.com, where users quickly get their subdomains and start to blog, and with a twist. anyone has any experience with this??
I would assume it would be hard to maintain because people could just sign up and put pornography and illegal content. Are you going to have any partners?

Wouldnt you be going against some big boys like Google (Blogspot) and Wordpress? Or did I miss something?
sure, how you are going to deal with this..... through this is unique idea and very few players are in the game. but the players are real big......
Hmm, WP and Blogspot's main model is to allow people to easily write and publish blogs. That sounds like your model.... therefore they are your competitors. Doesnt mean you shouldnt go ahead or its a bad idea, just that if this is the case you will need to think of some nifty key advantages to counter their: 1. Marketing power. 2. Resources. 3. Established users. 4. Established Trust and Brand. Or apply yourself in a niche somehow, i.e. Allow cool features, community or interlinking between bloggers of a certain niche. My 2 cents and a half.
i know friend but i have a bit diffrent concept fot it , where bloggers will quit their wordpress blogs for mine (if i implement it ) i am not gonna blog, but users will under my subdomains
Cool, If you believe in it then by all means go for it. Obviously need a bit more details to answer your question but from your first post, my comments are as above - 'In with the Big Boys'.
