Even I have tried for such a plugin. I have never found such a plugin.

But later I realised that GRABBING THE CONTENT from other websites is not that appreciable blogging.

Hence, left that idea. But, yet intereste dto know if such a plugin exists

It's called an RSS feed. Not sure that you want to duplicate content though as the SE's tend to frown on that. Also if you do pull content from another site you should give credit and link to the site you got it from.

Its not really a plugin, but there is this script called "Carp". Its designed to work with wordpress to pull in RSS feeds and post them on your site. Besides Carp, there is a script called Grouper - which is made by the same person that made carp.. Grouper will work with just about any kind of feed, regardless if its ATOM, RSS1 or RSS2.

Carp is free - but only works with RSS2

Grouper is a paid script. I think it cost about $45 or so. Works with all kinds of feeds.

Carp works pretty good, I use it on my forums to display some feeds.

Why do you want to pull content from other site, its like copying, write yourown article, that will help you in getting traffic to your blog or site.

On my blog, I have a page that displays the recent forum post from my forum. So its not always articles that are being shown. Sometimes its dynamic information that changes on a regular basis.

Even the big sites like Yahoo news does this. If you go to news.yahoo.com and scroll down the page, there are blocks of news articles that are pulled from different sources. Instead of having to go to a dozen different news sites, I just go to yahoo news and read through the feeds they pull from other sites.

Some wordpress plugin I recommend for grabbing content from other site :

    Free Plugin:
Feedwordpress (take content from rss feed other site)
Wp-O-Matic (take content from rss too but slower than feedwordpress)
Amazon Autoposter (grab content from amazon product description)

    Paid Plugin:
Caffeinated Content (grab articles from various source, the best plugin IMHO)
Autoblogged (most advanced content grabber plugin IMHO...kinda complicated for newbie)
Wp-Answer (grab content from yahoo answer based on keyword)
Wp-Videotube (grab content from youtube based on keyword)

Hi , i use a plugin called autoblogged that might be very useful , it pulls content off other sites , and updates it self every 3 hours it's currently on sale for $59.99 i think , type it in google to find it , it's worth it , i've also noticed it pulls traffic to your site very fast

Don't use carp or Magpie... I have perfected what you are trying to do with a few of my WP sites... I've done it to pull niche content from google... You can try yahoo pipes with feedwordpress plugin... But there is a hack you need to disply the content... I have that hack...

Hope that gives you some motivation...
