I am trying to fix the email settings.. I sent an email from the "Send Email" and it worked well. But when i am trying to submit, i don't get the email - and i think i did all fine in the template email thing.. Version 3.1.0 Thanks!
You need to setup email notifications from Admin menu. Upgrade to version 3.2 so its more of a automatic setup option during setup.
Hi humm, Thanks for the comment. I am using a db dump, to load a category list. I heard that if i use this db.mysql (which is for version 3.1) on 3.2 it might messed the directory up. If you installed version 3.2 and have a good words, i will be glad to hear.
I installed phpLD 3.2 three days ago and i dump a category list from phpLD forum. Try to search at 3400+ categories and you will find this mysql file. It worked fine and didntscrew up my db. Regards
No it doesn't screw up the db. But make sure you use the same db as of now thats being used in 3.1, just delete the old ftp files and run installation again with 3.2 files. The 3.1 db will automatically get upgraded to 3.2 Go for 3.2 since its more secure and less spammy submissions too. Make sure you got the backup's though. Also category dump do not mess up if used before installation in the db.
This is a problem most people have. I wrote an auto-submitter that hits up several hundred with a 99% success rate, and it's incredible if you get more than 60 email messages.
BOBESPONJA, When you added the dump with the new categories, any link got lost the process - maybe the new db del/replace dunno..
